GOLD ENSEMBLE.........my name on it!!!!!

well on this day i practically dragged my friend to go window shopping with me, just to pass time on a cold winter Saturday  and then she pointed at a shop and brought d suggestion that we should take a look inside, before now i disliked the shop immensely cos i never could find any i liked each time i visited there...

on this day as i was nagging her head off "Ruth" by d way, u should know her i wrote about her and my former roomy 'Lizzie'....my eyes caught sight of this dress...i immediately got super excited not just because it was a pretty dress but it had a golden design which invariably has a relationship wiv my name "GOLD"

OMG i honestly dunno whats wiv me n getting super duper excited anytime that has d slightest bit of relationship wiv my name on it...recently a friend bought me wine that had my name on it and made my entire month besides that i saw recently a bangle which by d way i paired with d dress in a shop and just cos of the gold design i knew i had to purchase it.... Earlier a friend made my semester wiv a gift of a golden wrist watch that i am also putting on and ve been rocking like crazy..so you see i go gaga crazy for any attachment to anything that has gold on it....

well when i got home i rushed to my jewelry box and started rummaging for any gold stuff i had to pair with d dress, the least thought was to try a pop of colour, i even made up my mind that my eye shadow was gonna b gold colored ...later i sat to watch an xmas movie "the mistletones" i got side tracked when the thought of what da hell got me so excited about the name and the color....

till now trust me i dunno, maybe its just my name, maybe its cos i like gold, maybe its cos i ve a special admiration for the color or because its just plain my name, whatever the reason remind me to thank dad for the name.....and cos my love for this colour gave a beautiful insight on how to perfectly rock my outfit of a golden ensemble......

BOLD CONFESSION i have crush's on distinct women, women of prestige, women that impress just by being who they are, being themselves, women that impact our society,the world at large positively, women that know thier game and what they are about despie thier field, women like Chimanda Adichie, Angela Merkel, Alice Walton, Rihanna, Beyonce, Sarah kay, Ellen Degeneres so many of them but if u think i meant crush sexually then u v a filthy mind..haha got yah!!!! wel if you dont know some of these few i ve mentioned not to worry i have future posts on them.....but today allow me to introduce you to the first from the fashion world Solange knowles.....

                    She is the younger sister to Beyonce Knowles who needs no intro, she is a singer,song writer, actress, model, dancer and DJ and oh a mother..she is presently 26 years merely a few years my older and lucky for moi born in the same month as me JUNE...shout out to the JUNE babies we tush like that.....despite her responsibilities this pretty lady can dress, she does know how to..

take it or leave it Solange is one of the leading names in fashion n my personal favorite, she has established herself as a fashion icon, i like her cos she can be daring, she is not afraid to try new things, she is not afraid to play with colors  she is a perfect picture of confidence and personality....she never gets stuck on on same fashion n doesn't follow she leads d trend....today she is on Afro punk n tomorrow braids, she inspired my recent braids..long bulky, bold n beautiful....

                    I wish i could say its to achieve a level of near perfection like other big writers before me, actually if you have read a few of my post you would know i love spoken word, am not gonna go back to to talk about that but if u r interested in knowing more i suggest you go back for my post on that topic...

                    so i was listening to a talk by PHIL KAYE on WHY I TELL STORIES (u can find it on YouTube) so invariably d question came to mind, y do i tell stories? 

funny a classmate asked me same recently and i gave my usual reply of its already a logo boldly written on my blog....but as i listened to that talk i began to have doubt as to why i blog or tell stories? do i do this because i wanted to join the community of bloggers and so tell stories through it? or was it a hobby? did i tell stories cos i wanted to build an audience of followers? do i just want to show case my beautiful pictures??

As i sat and pondered in my sitting room d only direction my mind could go was absolutely nowhere, shocking for me cos uptil now i was quite certain i thought i knew why....so i thot to myself after telling stories how do i feel and that's when i realized just like a vision, inspiration or incite hit me.. 

                     Each time i tell stories and someone smiles or laughs i feel that warming glow inside not even money can buy..i joke alot, i laugh alot oh not because i like d sound of my laugh of course i do*winks* but i find it makes people around me feel more at ease, there is a generation of love and laughter around, i find each time i laugh with a person, or share a laugh with a story, i have bought over an impending enmity or enemity whichever, i have made a new friend...

                          so that singular video had managed to give me a new outlook or direction, call it what you will but if at the end of my stories you don't take a new lesson, at least smile, it fulfills a purpose...heey wait d pix for dis post....

WISHFUL THINKING!!!

I do have the urge to tell the most beautiful stories of my life because i find some things that occur very intriguing, funny, and interesting, every laugh even more interesting than the former but that would only be an invasion of my privacy, perhaps that's the reason am so addicted to listening to Chimanda Ngozi Adichie and Sarah kay on you tube cos they have the magic of crafting words together to make it sound exquisite and beautiful but i on the hand might know the words but to express them so without contradicting the initial intent of telling it is wishful thinking....

                        

              I can wait to finish school despite fair warning that to leap s not so productive and some things have to take steps, cant wait to start working, to earn my savings or salary, to be totally independent from my parents, to be totally an adult, but to have that now presently has to be nothing but wishful thinking....

                A case of nostalgia because presently while writing this i want to be with my mom, i just want to hug her cos i desperately need a sense of calm right now that nothing or nobody but family can give you but the fact that am in ukraine now and she is far away in Nigeria, a hug right now has to be nothing but wishful thinking....

                 Hahahaha i do have a terrible incurable crush on Trey Songz naah dts not wishful thinking b4 u go like eeh wats she thinking?? one would say dts just hallucination but when you watching his video *simply amazing* u will understand  so i guess instead of a Trey Songz i wished for a replacement one who would see me as a replacement one who would see uuh as a he did see the girl in the video but hey m lucky i have that now..uumph don't think am gonna dish n tell reread d first paragraph invasion of privacy n dont go thinking u know who cos u don't....

Hello dollz,
quite recently i had two additions to my class, 2 of my long time Indian friends Ashish and Mona transferred to my class, well its been a whole new experience as expected. well advantage it gave me the excuse to rock on Indian styled outfits.. well there are actually two, the one with with a trouser Mona gave to me as a holiday gift from Indian  the other i bought myself a long time ago but have not bothered to try it on..
The bad news is the one i bought myself u wont believe is destroyed trying to iron it out so i have no future opportunity of re wearing it again... the one i got from Mona is still intact and i wore it to her buffday party which was fun i tell yah..too much chicken..can u imagine? by d way i totally dig meat, i ve special attraction, connection, relationship wiv meat... well back to my story it was totally fabulous on me... i like d simplicity coupled wiv sheer gorgeousness, i like how the two outfits seem to bring out life on my face..i added a few pictures from d party as an extra bonus oh n FYI i know a few Indian words now hahaha kidding am still stuck with d sentence Kuch Kuch hota hai which i memorized of course from d movie, well at least i know d meaning (something happened in my heart) n u dnt :((.. let me quit babbling now and let u enjoy d pics....
